From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this a spectacular brocade suiting, woven on a jacquard loom with just a bit of relief on the surface. An opaque, medium dress weight or lighter suiting, this fabric is stable and malleable with firmness in the drape. The yarn-dyed floral design (17.25" pattern repeat) offers a stunning colorway featuring steely gray and sagey green-gold in a combination of highly lustrous and matte fibers that produce an iridescent effect when it catches the light. The reverse is not meant to be used as the face, but noth sides are quite pretty. A wonderful choice for sewing special occasion garments or home decor.
